The DS-44-DIA HDT is based on the aerodynamc design of our well proven and established DS-51 ducted fan. The conical hub has a beneficial effect on the pressure build-up due to the diagonal airflow through the rotor. This fan offers a combination of high static thrust (due to efficient blading) and extremly high dynamic thrust at high flying speeds.

The fan is produced with a nominal diameter of 85 mm thus enabling installation in small and fast jets which offer not enough space for 90 mm fans.

Like all our fans the DS-44-DIA HDT  is "made in Paderborn" in all-carbon fibre design. You can rely on the combination of low weight and ultra-high strength! The limiting factor for maximum power input is the motor - not the ducted fan.

All ducted fans of the DS-XX-DIA HDT series come fully assembled, fine-balanced and quality-checked, you simply have to install your motor and the system is ready to fly.

We also offer a "plug and fly" solution with the motor purchased from our product range ready-installed.
